DESCRIPTION
The EI 12 fire rated access hatches are the solution proposed by SEMIN to ensure the protection of rooms against fire propagation. Designed to fit false ceilings, they are classified as fire resistance EI 12 and act only on the " fire load on room side only ". Available in various sizes, the 12 min fire rated access hatches are invisible and blend in perfectly with the decor of the room. They are tested for fire resistance from below (room side) to comply with standard EN 1634-1: +A1: 218. With an integrated aluminium frame with firewall, these hatches are equipped with a cover made from a type DF fire protection plasterboard, and an all-round EPDM lip seal to prevent smoke infiltration. The cover is easy to remove and replace. The cover is secured on both sides by automatic safety latches. These are designed to intercept the cover whenever the hatch is opened.
